Thanks to John, Mark & John for the suggestions.

Last time Leica asked me to send in the SF20, so I guess they tried the hot shoe.  It also happens with other flash, such as a Metz and a Sunpak.

The suggestion that they take it our to shoot is a good one.

I will advise what happens.
