It is the same thing with the Kodak Hypo Clear--for some reason it is only available in the 5-liter size here in Europe, and given its keeping time of 3 months it means that I would waste most of it. So far I have stocked up on the 1-liter size when I have been visiting the U.S. If XTOL becomes available only in 5-liter packs, I will have to switch to DD-X.
