Wade,
It is hard to separate my analysis of the photo from my first instinct--"what an adorable little girl!" I like the way that her face remains in focus while her dress is diaphonous and slightly out of focus. It suggests movement, and
given her age, that seems very natural and spot on. I also love her expression. It captures the coy shyness that children this age affect. Lovely picture that really seems to capture her spirit; I don't know her, but after seeing this
photo, I feel that I do.
