Two weeks ago i traded in allmost all my photo equipment just to buy a m6
with a noctilux.
Feeling a bit silly because it was excellent stuff but not used a lot since
i started carying a very small digital camera.
Felt even more silly having trouble holding the camera fingers in all the
wrong places well you can imagine.
Earlier i barged in on a film versus lenses discussion and expressed my
thoughts that compared to a ccd camera the noctilux would stand no chance in
shooting the night sky handheld.
I tried though and still can hardly believe the result.Even though i
underexposed 2 stops from the meter reading the resulting picture looked
like early twilight with venus in the center. But it was polaris on a dark
night.
Also holiday pictures i took using e100 were unexpectately pretty.
I really threw a lot of previous investment away to get this combo but i,m
happy as a clam.
