How old are they now? And while shooting my book, "This is Our Work. The Legacy of Sir William Osler," I never shot kids hurting in OR's, no idea why not, just didn't happen. Birthing, a couple of my grand children and even there it was mixed emotion because a grandchild being born and you knew if you screwed-up you couldn't say, "Excuse me doc could you put him back for a re-shoot!" ;-) But now I'm producing a new book, "This is Our Work. Women in Medicine." I 'm getting into different disciplines of medicine with the women and in case today, an Ophthalmolgist doing kids. Little folks have always caused me grief when they're hurting and in particular in Russia a few years ago when I spent time working with the Children of Chernobyl. Now if one thinks they're tough non-emotion cookies, just spend 6 weeks with bald headed and deformed kids with the effects of the Chernobyl nuclear station disaster and one finds out just how tough and emotionless they can't be. The lad putting the kids to sleep today said, some days it's tough with the kids depending how he felt. But it didn't matter whether he was feeling good or not, it was always stressful with the little guys and gals. I've souped 8 rolls so far and 8 to go, so far the first negs look pretty good with what appear as "keepers!" But it wont be until contacts and 11X14 work prints are made will we decide in or out. And for those wondering about the M7 battery failure and the results.. everything looks great so far. ted - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
