Nice! I like the original much more... (IMO) this is one of those shots that
at first looks like cropping will tighten up nicely, focus attention on the
action and all that, so you try, and you realise it didn't need it, your eye
figures out where to go just fine, only now you don't have any context.
Which I guess is why people use wides for SP.

I wonder about this effect with SLR viewfinders: my FE and F3hp are 0.75 and
0.85 or so (with a 50,) which makes lenses feel quite different. 28 is a
more 'immersive' experience on the FE, 50 feels normal on the F3 but
slightly tele on the FE. Haven't noticed a difference in my results,
although I've never really looked for one.
