Really quite amusing to watch) Early October is usually quite nice temperatures ranging from the 60s to low 80s. A number of my friends own wineries so if you are going on the tour of Evergreen and want to visit them drop me a line at (mak@teleport.com) and I will put you in touch with them. Early October is usually the middle of harvest so some great photo ops await (Oregon has 254 wineries, more breweries total and per capita than any other city/state and more coffee houses than any city but Seattle) Portland is 1.5 hours from the coast and the cascades. (other friends climb the Cascades) Early October is a bit early for fall color here. Early for skiing, too (Unless you are expert and want to join the US Ski Team on Palmer Glacier on Mt Hood). You can also visit the famous Blue Moon Camera, Citizens Photo, Suburban Photo (Beaverton), Pro Photo and Tymers (Vancouver Washington) Mark. - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
