You are > always leading. You may be right about that, Dante. Certainly the Hexar delay is less than many SLRs. Someone else mentioned in a private email that you perceive the Hexar delay to be longer than it is, because you hear the loud winder with more emphasis than the quiet shutter. I suspect that people with longer-delay cameras learn to anticipate action a little sooner. It also may be that Ted's right, that no person can really react fast enough to make the difference between 12 and 100 milliseconds count. I do know that over the years I've gotten a greater number of hits with a Leica than and SLR.
