[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]this is so very bizarre. i have my first roll of x-ray fogged film and i find myself justifying that it happened as opposed to learning about prevention. it was my mistake to post one image which was a bit misleading. this is why the roll of superia 1600 has been affected by an airport x-ray scanner and not by a flare or a light leak: - -across the whole proof sheet, there is a distinct pattern - -this pattern zig-zags across the entire roll of film and is most apparent on the darker, more underexposed frames - -a light leak would be consistently in one position on the negative and possibly only for a short section of the negative - -a flare would not appear in different places on consecutive frames of the same composition and set up i almost started to scan other images to provide further evidence when i realized that this would most likely invite more grief and is honestly besides the point. let's please put this thread to rest. doug http://www.ricecracker.net On 8/2/02 10:10 PM, "Nathan Wajsman" <wajsman@webshuttle.ch> wrote: > Hi Doug, > > I looked and looked and looked...and did not see anything except some flare.
