It makes me wonder ... one of the individual's grandfather had purchased x amount of acerage for farming but only a fraction of it was used today. What happened to the rest? Lack of water? Confiscation? Annexation? A similar situation exists in Zimbabwe, but there it is not so clean cut. The political rhetoric for redistributing the land is just a cover-up for hidden agendas. The land isn't going out to anyone. It's just there now, unused ... and people are starving.
