You might also want to pick up a copy of a standard introductory text on
photography, at least to examine the organization of topics.

Photography by Barbara London and John Upton is a common standard college
text for introductory photography.

Available for free perusal in many libraries. I bought a remainder copy at a
discount bookstore locally very cheap.
