Only one problem with that way of doing business, Frank:

It requires that the person sending the money trust YOU in precisely the way
in which you refuse to trust them.;-)

I trust my fellow man. But after doing business for 35 years through mail
order, used, etc, I trust payment first. Pay me and you will get your
goods. Balk at payment up front, and I then go into distrust mode.... with
good (suspicious) reasons and the deal is off.

I either know you, at which point I MAY be lenient, or you pay up front, or
the deal gets closed down....

I remember a guy that bought a 3F from me.... His check arrived without a
signature. He wanted me to ship the camera to him anyway. When I balked, he
told me he was part of the ( country X) Embassy staff and therefore his word
was good. When I refused, he claimed he was going to have me sent to jail.

I still have the camera. Never been in jail.
