Digilux - D60? No, you aren't talking about apples and oranges, more like
apples and a balanced diet. There is no comparison between the digilux,
which is a high-end digital P&S, and the D60, which is a full-function,
interchangeable lens, digital SLR. Ignore what I say, ignore what you read
here about pros rushing to camera stores to grab Digiluxes off the shelves,
and go to a store where you can look at and handle the two side by side.
Then reach your own conclusion - and enjoy your D-60. ;-)

Aside from the handgrip, what is more equivalent? Also, what is the
processing time from one image till ready to process another? I
currently use an E10 and after four images, the buffering time is about
15 sec. Is the digilux faster. I am considering the D60...are we talking
about apples and oranges?
Thanks,
Roger

I have and use both. The only way I can tell a difference in the
digital
files is that the Leica ones begin with L and the Panasonic ones begin
with
P. The Panasonic does have the advantage of the rubbery hand-grip.
The
batteries are interchangeable, contrary to what the instructions say.
