No, you aren't talking about apples and oranges, more like apples and a balanced diet. There is no comparison between the digilux, which is a high-end digital P&S, and the D60, which is a full-function, interchangeable lens, digital SLR. Ignore what I say, ignore what you read here about pros rushing to camera stores to grab Digiluxes off the shelves, and go to a store where you can look at and handle the two side by side. Then reach your own conclusion - and enjoy your D-60. ;-) B. The only way I can tell a difference in the digital files is that the Leica ones begin with L and the Panasonic ones begin with P. The Panasonic does have the advantage of the rubbery hand-grip. The batteries are interchangeable, contrary to what the instructions say.
