The only way I can tell a difference in the files is that the Leica ones begin with an L and the Panasonic ones with a P. I have read that the brand and size of the SD card makes a difference in the processing time. With the Lexar 128 MB card it takes less than three seconds between exposures. After a series of 4 photos, it takes 9 seconds. That depends on whether you want a rangefinder or SLR. There are advantages and disadvantages to each.
