We've got every flavor of fotofetishist and Leicalunatic (and I of course include myself in those descriptions ;-) ) gathered together here. Just make sure that if you post, every so often you post something having to do with an M, an R, an LTM, and, most important - FILM.:-) B. Was: Digilux use by professionals This might be a timely place to dip a toe into the LUG water. For many many years I've used my bashed-about, held-together-with-insulation-tape, silent, RANGEFINDER IIIc for everyday 35mm picture taking. Enough said. <laughs> Now I've picked up on eBay a second-hand Digilux Zoom (one of the Fuji models), and I'd like to ask a few questions in the hope of receiving some constructive answers. I appreciate that most ppl here will not class this camera as a Leica, since it doesn't even have the virtue of looking like one. But surely someone in the group was tempted a couple of years ago. And clearly the fact that a unit was not manufactured by Leitz doesn't preclude its use and discussion here. Brian Reid, who I believe is the group's owner, suggests I go elsewhere (he writes: "... its purpose [the LUG] is to discuss rangefinder film cameras"), but whereas there are no doubt many other digital camera discussion groups online, very few of them will have knowledge of the Leica range. So, should I close the door quietly? Martyn - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
