The other 'look out!' is that sales tax in New York City is staggering. If I
were you and I saw something I liked at a place like Ken Hansen's or Rich
Pinto's, I'd ask them to hold it for you - put down a deposit if necessary,
and tell them when you get home you will call and buy it, thus saving
yourself something like 8.5%, or is it higher now?

Some friendly advice... Know your market price...  Getting to a Leica toy
store without proper information on new or used prices could seriously ruin
your attitude....  NYC prices can be high, low or somewhere in between.  But
if you do not know what the market price is for a 50 Noctilux you can easily
be swayed to part with enough extra $$$ to pay for a lot of film!

Remember, this stuff is NOT rare.  It is easily available.  Just be mindful
of your pocketbook, your repair/return policy, and your "urge".
