Shutter speeds from 1 sec to 1/250, plus B and T. - -C1 is smaller, lighter, noisier, is plastic covered with a thin metallic layer, but has 35-105 zoom. Shutter speeds from 1.7sec to 1/500 plus B and T. Of course, being all auto, you can't set the speeds yourself on either one. I think if you are looking for a P&S that's light and compact, the C1 is the way to go, Minilux seems expensive for its features, though the lens may be better. Demo C1's are always available on ebay for $220 "buy it now" with 3 month Leica warranty. I got one and it's like new. Minilux zooms run $600. Hope this helps Phil - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeanne Tifft" <jtifft@cox.net> To: "Leica User Group" <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Thursday, August 29, 2002 8:11 AM Subject: [Leica] Leica C1 versus Leica Minilux Zoom - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
