Bagless. Which is nice because i think a tripod bag looks like you've got a rifel in it. But does keep your Tripod dry if it's raining. Gitzo makes a bag which says Gitzo on it in very large letters with a cool typeface and is of much higher quality than the bags i use which i think are Tenba.. One of the Gitzo'z comes in red. Very snazzy. Does not look like a gun bag. The straps i buy to put on my tripod bags are a big deal and not cheap. They are very well padded and some thought went into their design and materials. There's a few out there to choose from. I think a tripod is THE important piece of equipment. Even for a Leica. Frees the photographer not the opposite. And on the tripod idea i think for 35mm eye level photography it can't be one of those too short skinny compact things. It has to be a definite tripod to be sturdy at eye level. And it has to be tall enough so you don't have to crouch down to use it like Quasimoto. Or you won't. Half the peoplle who say they have a tripod and don't use it for 35mm it's because they've got a half assed short tripod. And a bad back.
