Have you recently seen a digital camera which can works > > w/o batteries? Nuff said :) > Are batteries unavailable in Poland? Yes, and we are still living in caves and eat edible roots. Ask Mike Durling for details :) 2CR5 are hard to buy outside cities :) And at the midnight. And when you need them. And they tend to stop working when I need them most. Long exposures drain them to death. Also, they don't work well in winter (e.g at -10 degrees Celsius). Also electronics in cameras generally tend to act strangely when water finds even a little way inside them. And so on.. :) For me, ability to shoot without batteries is important. And *please*, don't talk about my Minilux as a counterexample :) PS Oh yes, and I do use a digital camera from my company sometimes: http://watteau.neurosoft.net/s_c.jpg but will never use it in such conditions: http://watteau.neurosoft.net/lantern.jpg :) - -- St. (XS360 Diesel - Sampo Lappelil, ¬liMC) http://www.familyofman2.com GH !d a- C--- E---- W+++ N+++ PS+++ !tv b+++ D++ e++ h* r% - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
