I used to be heavily involved in the open source community (Linux development). Some of the projects include people who are very close and meet from time to time in various places in the world. Still, there is something about mailing lists, and email in particular where ideas are sometimes easier to express but rarely understood. Combine this with people who are passionate about what they do or the thing the list is about and tempers will soar. I am very serious in saying that this mailing list is tame compared. In fact, if you took out all the posts of people complaining about how bad the list 'has gotten' there would be very little content outside what we are supposed to be here for :) Cheers, Dave - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
