Specifically, if I am shooting below about 1/15 (varies due to film speed) the camera will not register a reading. The manual says that it might take longer for the sensor to gather light to make a reading, but I find that I get no reading. According to the chart in the handbook, (as I interpret it) with ASA 400 film, the meter should be able to read at 1 second at f/2, ( 1/4 @ f/2 with 1600 film) but I get nowhere this sensitivity. How old is your M6? The later ones meter in much lower light than the early ones. Can you be more specific in describing your problem?
