On the 6x10cm plaubel veriwide, the lens is delivering circa 18mm equiv to 35mm SLR format (56x92mm), not just 21mm there isn't much focusing with an 18mm equiv. lens ;-) there are click stops for everything in focus if you can't reach out and touch it ;-) the multiple bubble levels are also handy... if you need a low light camera, this isn't it. the plaubel is only 34 oz. and book sized, so compact, very rugged hocky puck. Brooks is bigger, but more flexible with the backs. the big attraction, to me, was not as a replacement for a fast RF/SLR ultrawide, but as a replacement for a pricey panoramic camera, for traveling. ;-) stopped down, a good example of the super angulon can be a very good performer, and the 6x9cm format gives you great enlargeability if you need it (and impressive chromes if you don't) hth bobm * Robert Monaghan POB752182 So.
