The lens looks very fine, and a look with the Peak #1 showed some curvature of field, but the test prints were exceptionally sharp. However, after using a Durst G139 with CLS 1000 for all my MF and LF work, the V35 exposure times even with comparable tiny paper sizes seem very long to me. Ok, I can't compare the small 75W bulb with the CLS 1000 (1kW), but an 20x30cm-enlargement (that's about my standard size) from a negative with normal density and without filtering, using the Focotar at f4-5.6 takes exposure times around 25-50s for AGFA MCP. The same negative at the Durst with the 24x36 mixing box isn't useable without neutral density filter, because it takes much less than 1s at the same f-stop with a 50mm lens! So, the V35 seems not very bright to me... I checked the bulb and found an Osram bulb, but this seems to be the correct replacement for the original Philips (13139?) bulb. Could someone enlighten me, I don't know what else to check... Is this the correct light level for the V35?
