I use Zing pouches. 
When I got my Noctilux from Ernie, it came in a Zing pouch. 
I now have a pouch for every one of my Leica lenses. 
I've taken off the plastic hardware as it just gets in the way. 
For travelling light, a zing pouch on a belt, is a very convenient walk
about set up.
