The 90 Elmar C is a very fine performer.  I only sold mine to acquire faster
glass.  Mine at least was fairly flare resistant and quite crisp even wide
open.  You would have nothing to worry about in purchasing a clean specimen.

I can't tell you how it works on an M6, I always used mine on a CL.
