Thanks to everyone who made comments. I had run out of steam on this 
project until I saw the feedback. I didn't realize what an effect they 
would have on people. The hardest part is (a) finding the people and 
(b) finding the time to continue. I think at some point I am going to 
have to hire a researcher to do some of the legwork for me, and then do 
it city by city. Thanks again!
