I like the way you balanced the exposure - and the composition is very appealing - not too familiar and not to strange. What kind of film did you use? The sky look kinda Kodachromey, but what do I know! Also, do you recall how you arrived at your exposure? Thanks, - - - marc http://wwwphotoneal.com/photos/paw/tn/liner.jpg.html Marc, Thanks for the nice comments, I took a couple of exposures of this, the first exposure was this one in which I let the M7 do its thing. Thinking that the meter was being fooled by the extremely bright reflection I compensated in the second exposure. The meter did underexpose, as would be expected, but that underexposure was right for the shot. The film that I used was Agfa Vista 200 which does have a slight magenta bias similar to Kodachrome, (at least to the older Kodachromes), which I liked in Kodachrome II and X [ am I dating myself or what?]. I'm finding that the M7 has better instincts than I do, I know "A machine can't have instincts", but as I get older mine are not as good as they once were. Anyway I like to perpetuate the "Leica Mystique". Neal F - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
