They have a website too and welcome international members. They produce a smaller (A5) magazine to a similar standard though generally providing shorter articles. The reason that the LHS remains collecting orientated is that there is a separate society in the UK for users, that being LPP, (Leica Postal Portfolios). LPP members circulate pictures to each other in 19/20th C. mode of 'snail' mail, though the latest 'circle' within the larger society uses digital circulation via the 'net. LPP also has a website, www.lpp.org.uk regards, Jem - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nathan Wajsman" <wajsman@webshuttle.ch> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Sunday, December 01, 2002 9:01 PM Subject: Re: SV: [Leica] LHSA > > Anyway, as far as I know, there is a collector-oriented society in the > UK, whose name unfortunately escapes me at the moment. > > Nathan > > > > -- > Nathan Wajsman > Herrliberg (ZH), Switzerland > > e-mail: wajsman@webshuttle.ch > mobile: +41 78 732 1430 > > Photo-A-Week: http://www.wajsman.com/indexpaw2002.htm > General photo site: http://www.wajsman.com/index.htm > > -- > To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
