Steve - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us] On Behalf Of Jem Kime Sent: 02 December 2002 14:32 To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: Re: [Leica] Bill Brandt on TV Slobodan, I too, have always wondered this, as I like wide angle lenses/cameras. I have one such candidate in the Envoy Wide Angle, a 6x9 camera with a fixed 64mm lens (usually Taylor Hobson but occassionally Dallmeyer). However this seems unlikkely to present the severe distortion/extreme coverage that are apparent in this series of his photos, so I remain unconvinced. I managed to pick up a new copy of his latest Thames and Hudson book (published in conjunction with the National Portrait Gallery I believe) for only 5 pounds this last weekend, a pleasant bargain considering the new price is 48 pounds! Sadly there were no more copies available... :-( regards, Jem - ----- Original Message ----- From: "S Dimitrov" <sld@earthlink.net> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Monday, December 02, 2002 2:06 AM Subject: Re: [Leica] Bill Brandt on TV > He used a special wide angle LF camera for his nudes and beach series. > Anyone remember the make and model?
