If I were to adhere to #1-4 I would never be allowed to complain about the price of anything. Given that complaining about the cost of things is my birthright ( thanks MOM) I see nothing wrong with the previous emails. This is the Leica Users Group not the Leica Booster Club which means we should feel free to complain about any and all things Leica including price. Given that the .58 version just hit the US shores it seems rude to have a price jump soon after. So I 'm sorry if I put my pomp - - pomps down for a second to complain and did not take into account #1-4. e. nitka At 07:48 AM 12/19/02 -0500, you wrote: >Friends, > For the past couple of days, I've been reading the comments about the >upcoming Leica price increase and I must conclude the following: > 1.- Many of you feel the employees of Leica do not deserve an increase >in salary. > 2.- Leica AG never has any increases in the cost of doing business. > 3.- Their suppliers do not have or are not permitted to have increases >in their cost of doing business. > 4.- Leica should lower its prices and eventually go out of business. > 5.- Most of you have absolutely no idea of how to run an international >business. > >Happy Snaps and Holidays, >Sal > >Sal DiMarco, Jr. >Philadelphia, PA >Web Site: http://members.fcc.net/sal.dimarcojr > >-- >To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
