Yesterday I hiked the hills west of the house in Black Canyon and can give this bag a good report. I carried a D30, an M6, two added lenses for the M6, a GPS, cell phone, water, map, and various and sundry items to clean lenses, not to mention an additional battery for the D30 and some more film for the M6. I still had room to pick up a few rocks and tuck them away into a generous outside pocket. The bag carried easily over my shoulder, gave me good flexibilty while scrambling up a scree of shale and avoiding cactus and numerous thorny plants. You might want to give one of these bags a look-see. They are often called "back savers" I think. Lots of internal and external pockets and places to stash stuff. In fact one of the down-sides is there are so many that you might forget where the heck you stored stuff. The double main zipper makes it easy to access your camera while you're walking. My $0.02.
