The $40 spent on Vuescan is the best $40 I have ever spent on computer software. Not just because it provides me with far superior scanning software to that included with my Epson 2450 and Nikon LS-2000 scanners, but also because of the level of support you get--unlimited updates, e-mails answered by Ed Hamrick himself etc. I think it is amazing that in this day and age of Microsoft dominance a guy like Ed can survive, now for several years, and he thoroughly deserves our support.
