Gleened from the Agfa newsletter:

RECALL CAMPAIGN AT FUJIFILM
No digital camera is perfect. However, it's very unpleasant if it
totally refuses to work: on occasion, Fujifilm's FinePix S2 Pro digital
camera gives up the ghost entirely following a change of battery and has
to be sent to the factory for repair. The problem occurs in a number of
cameras with certain Serial Nos.
