an issue that won't die :

What UV filter will fit on the 24 asph elmarit that will allow the hood to
properly engage (and thus, avoid vignetting) ?

Please - if you are of the opinion that 'filters are for know-nothing
jerks' - please don't respond!
This created too much noise the last time it came up.
