Nice work. > > Patrick Thanks for the advice . Yes i was using a tripod for the 20 second exposures. What i tried to do was to shield the lens from the city lights by waving my hand in front of it. next time i,ll use a cable release so i can look through the finder at the same time. Probably moved everything around a bit while depressing the shutter release. also i scanned with the long exposure pass in vuescan on the negatives all lights show up as sharp stars but after scanning these disappear in the circular blobs. i,ll try again without the long exposure pass.Somehow i understood it would help the shadow areas but is probably for the highlights. what do you think? simon - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
