I took pictures at a family birthday party in a restaurant meeting room with
lower light than I usually encounter in meeting rooms. Using my M6, 200
ISO Kodacolor film and my Noctilux at f1.0, my exposure required shutter
speeds of 1/4 and 1/8.

The depth of field was acceptable since the background was out of focus
favoring the subjects.

My only problem was some camera movement at the low shutter speeds and focus
errors when the light made range setting difficult.

Next time, I will use my M3 to improve the rangefinder use and a faster film
to permit faster shutter speed.

I sure love the Noctilux. It makes unposed pictures without subject
awareness a breeze.
