I like the cold and snow, I like the mountains, but I just do not like skiing :-( I took lessons during our first winter here and realized that I simply would never be any good at it. Even after several lessons, my preferred method of stopping remained looking for a nice big pile of soft snow to crash into. The second winter I tried again, with roughly similar results. So I said screw it, why spend a lot of time and money on something which I do not enjoy and which I am lousy at? This winter I have the added excuse of having had knee surgery in late November, and given my frequency of falls there would be a high likelihood of messing up the knee if I did ski. So the family and I enjoy the mountains together, just in different ways... Nathan Jerry Lehrer wrote: > Nat > > Nice shots. But you say you don't enjoy skiing? Wow!
