It is conceived in such a way that it infringes only minimally the vision through the viewfinder. This lens hood can also be fitted on the lens in the reverse position for storing. The lens is delivered with a suiting metal lens cap with an embossing of the classic Leica logo but a plastic lens cap suiting the lens with reversed lens hood on is also provided. The package also contains a leather case, which can contain the lens with the lens hood in storage position." - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us]On Behalf Of Will Sent: Wednesday, February 05, 2003 4:20 PM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: Re: [Leica] Re: M 50mm f/2.0 50 Year Summicron Does this mean that the lens will have a removable lens head that can be on the Viso? If so, that might make a viable purchase! Regards, Bill Larsen Kit writes | This may help. From our marketing manager at Leica USA: | | "The construction and optical performance are identical to those of the | actual Summicron 50mm, but its design is inspired by the first | non-collapsible Summicron, which came on the market in the mid fifties." | | Sounds as if we are talking about the same furniture, in a retro house. ;-) - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
