Hi Jerry,

I would be interested in seeing a source for the information that the 
optical unit is removable and will register correctly with the old 
accessories. It would be "neat" if it did but I have seen no detailed 
specs yet. Can you point us to some. Perhaps, because it is based on 
the old design, it will. After all the latest 50/2.8-M will mount in 
the old accessories after you remove the plastic cover on the optical 
unit's bayonet.
