I >believe this is a trend Solms intends to continue pursuing with future >products. >Emanuel Lowi >Montreal Do the ergonomics and sturdy metal construction of yesterday worth the - big - difference of price? If not which Solms intends to continue is a big business based on the emotional approach of some Leicaphiles... Collectors are men with love for some objects, why not?, but I'm not sure if, excluding some lucky circumstances like buying in the past a Ferrari GTO, you get a right draw back to your investment. I'm a economist but this may come true just from common sense! Kind regards Felix PS I cannot find a rational reason for trading a "new" 50 year Summicron for my excellent standard Summicron! It seems to me enough ergonomic and sturdy. - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
