It's a very sharp lens, very well made. However, the images were rather flat-looking--didn't have nearly the life or "bounce" that I get with an 80s pre-asph Summicron 35. Sold mine to Kyle Cassidy, who proceeded to perform structural integrity tests on it in the sewers of central Europe. I own a 15mm VL and is extremely happy with its performance. Now I'm looking for a faster lens and this one seems to fit the bill, if its performance is anything like the 15mm. - ---- Much less distortion than the 15 - much narrower field of view - much less depth of field - much faster - and said to be competitive with the last pre-asph 35 Summicron in terms of image quality. :-) - ---- __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
