The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser. Unless you want to stay connected to the person you sell it to, and then if they have an issue, you take care of it for them. That would work. Since the buyer would not be registering the camera with Leica (you did that already when you bought it), then technically, the camera warranty still belongs to you.
