Yeah, yesterday I got my new press credential sticker for 2003-2004. It
makes me grit my teeth to see that the issuing agency is the LAPD and
not a press association, or some such industry or professional
organization.
The initial application requires a three month investigation of one's
national records by the police department.
Never mind owning a camera, what about the here and now with the McCain
snitch chip in our TVs, and the snitch software in our computers. It's
probably putting a smile on Goebbel's crisped face. It makes his limited
range radio look Neolithic, and that was just a couple of generations ago.
