First off, there are usually enough people at any major protest to more than insure that the cops get their riot gear, special training, and OT paid for. Second off, the agenda of the cops - when it comes to handling demonstrations - is to do what their employers, those in power, tell them to do. B. But if you'll look at the post you responded to, > that's the numbers from the cops. Er, yeah...exaggeration is beyond the scope of the "cops"...right. In fact, it's job security for them...the more people they can conjure up, the more overtime they can get! > When was the last time the government inflated the numbers of those > protesting? Police and government are two different things. Different agenda.
