I'm sorry that my post was understood as being directed at him, not at all. If you review the posts we've had (which have been, admittedly, a royal waste of time at this point) there was one particular posting that complained about someone's being arrogant by asking others to use a particular type of software in order to view the site. Again, I wasn't referring to Nathan. Did I say that I wasn't referring to Nathan? Yes, I believe I did say that. I will apologize for making any kind of offhand reference to anyone at all, one that was obviously misunderstood. For that, my sincere apologies, to Nathan, and to everyone on the list. Mea culpa. My problem with Marko's site is not flash or anything like that. I don't think Nathan was being mean spirited when he gave some common sense advice. I was certainly not trying to be mean spirited when I pointed out that Marko needs to size his pictures appropriately. The thumbs are 60x40 pixels, way too small to use as a reference. Skipping the intro, and working as fast as I could, on a T1 line, it was 40 seconds before I could get the first picture loaded. That picture is 287 Kb and 378 pixels wide x 259 high, rather small to view, especially in light of the amount of stuff in the picture. Had he optimized it at 100% quality, it would be just 40 KB, and would have loaded in 15 seconds on the slowest dialup.
