Well, and can't these parts be made again, or am I just being totally naive?
You'd think Leica would want to supply parts for cameras, especially for a
model that enjoyed 20 years of production! There are quite a few out there,
no?

What would you need to repair it? Maybe we should put together a kit.
 Is this possible or practical?
