My dad was the oldest person working the assembly line in Atlanta when he retired. He was so old that they had to pay him his pension while he was still working. Retired at age 72. And I could tell you horror stories about what goes on in an auto factory. Now, as for Leica, well, you have some old Leica's, don't you? Have you been trading them in every two? And remember ... some of us weren't around to change Oskar Barnack's diapers, so we don't have an ur-Leica stowed away in our Lederhosen! Some of us like to buy new things! And honestly, have you ever found a Leica in a garage sale? I think you just made that up. How are they gonna sell M7s, when you folks want to keep using and fixing your M2 thru M6? Live with it, buy a new Leica every 2 years and sell the old ones at garage sales. If you want Leica to stay in business ya gotta buy!
