No prob - If I recall the story correctly, about a year prior to the 1Ds
announcement Dennis Regie, incredibly successful wedding photographer
and Canon whore - uh, spokesperson - was telling groups to which he
spoke that Canon was going to be coming out with a digital SLR he called
a "Hassleblad killer" - precisely the point you're making. :-)

What I read was "Second, studios are hardly dropping medium format to
use 
the D1s..."
I thought that meant that they weren't dropping medium format for either

the D1s or the Olympus.
