There are lots of folks on the LUG who are very knowledgeable about the history of the Leica rangefinder, and it's been fun to see how they might build the camera themselves, and how much they know about the camera's inner workings. OH NO!!!! It's the end of the end of an era. I mean, it's the end of the begining of an era. Or is this the continuation of the end of an era.... To all those who enjoyed the mental masturbation of the last week regarding the end of mechanical cameras this post will be the..um..end of a very short era.
