A variable or multi- magnification view/rangefinder, say 0.6 and 1.2 x, on the Leica would be a big step forward. There would be a greater margin of focussing accuracy with fast lenses. Such a finder could be implemented while still retaining the current bright lines. The contax G2 - a very fine camera, by the way- finder in not the only way to put zoom finder in a camera. I am informed that the MP will also have TTL flash metering. Any word on the price? - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lucien" <director@ubi.edu> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Sunday, February 23, 2003 15:26 Subject: Re: [Leica] Leica MP -- Yes, it's true! > Javier Perez wrote: > > > So let me see if I understand this. > > After 47 years they still haven't been able to > > incorporate a zoom vf and I'm suppossed to be excited? > > Javier, > > Thanks God, they didn't. > > You're the customer for a G2. > > Lucien > > > > > > > -- > To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html > > - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
